Yemi Sekoni is a dynamic leader in the fashion and entertainment industry, known for her outstanding work as a talent booking agent, show producer, and business mentor. With over 45 years of experience, Yemi has made a name for herself as a talented and driven individual who has a deep understanding of the industry.
Yemi holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where she developed her business acumen and honed her leadership skills.
Yemi’s passion, creativity, and dedication have made her a respected and admired figure in the fashion and entertainment industry. She continues to inspire and lead, and her work is a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence.

Donahue, and was acquired by Yemi Sekoni in 2010. It has since grown to become a powerhouse in the industry, and has a reputation for scouting and developing some of the best local talent, providing them with opportunities to work with major brands and media outlets.

A bi-annual event that celebrates the creativity and diversity of the fashion industry in Rhode Island and beyond. The event showcases the latest collections from local designers and provides a platform for emerging talent to gain exposure.
Rhode Island Fashion Week is a celebration of fashion, art, beauty, education and entertainment, dedicated to promoting diversity and supporting emerging and seasoned designers.
Our goal is to provide a platform for emerging talent and established couturiers to showcase their work and create an environment that welcomes people of all backgrounds.
In addition to her work at Donahue Models & Talent, Yemi is also the founder and executive producer of Rhode Island Fashion Week, a bi-annual event that showcases some of the most innovative and cutting-edge fashion designs from around New England. She is dedicated to promoting, and supporting the fashion industry in Rhode Island and beyond, and has been instrumental in not only creating a platform for emerging designers to showcase their work, but also mentoring them through the Small Business Administration’s SCORE.
A quarterly artist showcase for independent artists, featuring live performances, visual art, and fashion. The event provides a platform for local creatives to connect with each other and showcase their work to a broader audience.
Yemi is also the producer and showcase director of RAW Providence, a showcase that features local artists and performers. She is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the entertainment industry and works tirelessly to create opportunities for artists and performers from all backgrounds.
RAW Providence is the destination for all independent artists, providing an avenue to showcase and be supported in their creative endeavors. At our events we welcome all creatives and are proud to champion the cause of local independent artists.
